  This is the best Thai food I've ever had. Pad prik Khing was AMAZING.

  I started with the fresh spring rolls (it says 2, but really it's 2 HUGE ones cut in half, making 4 large rolls) that almost filled me up before dinner even arrived. I ordered them and asked for extra peanut sauce too, knowing I'd need it because I always run out before I finish dipping. She brought me a decent-sized bowl of sauce (which was really good, by the way), and my 4 spring rolls with tofu. They were delicious! I love veggies though. If you don't want pretty much a salad wrapped in thin roll skin, maybe add shrimp or chicken. Next time, I'll have them add shrimp. I devoured 3 and left 1 for later, as dinner had arrived.
  
  I had flat wide noodles with onions, red bell peppers, basil, and a few other things (#73 with tofu), and it was so good! Next time, I'd like to try it with scallops. I finished half of my food and felt too full to keep going. I asked for a box, and the waitress was sweet enough to have included a to-go container of peanut sauce in there (she noticed I left behind one spring roll for later and assumed I'd like more sauce, how thoughtful!). I put my leftovers in the box and happily ate them later, for supper, I guess. They were just as delicious.
  
  My boyfriend had the kao soy curry, which is his favorite curry. It was the daily special. He enjoyed it, but said it wasn't as flavorful as the one at his favorite Thai place in Bend. He also had the egg rolls, but ended up wishing he got my fresh rolls. The egg rolls were really small, and he had ordered then because it said there were 4 of them and only 2 spring rolls, so he thought he was getting more food for the same cost. He also loved my peanut sauce instead of his sweet Thai chili dipping sauce. Lesson learned--get greedy and you end up with less. :P I didn't try the egg rolls, but he thought they were okay.
  
  We also shared a pot of tea in the cutest little elephant teapot. We enjoyed our food, the service, and the rain on the windows and on the deck right outside. It was also fun watching the crab catchers outside, lowering their pots, bringing them back up with three crabs inside, measuring them, and taking them home. The views alone are worth popping in for an appetizer or a tea.

  We had pad kee Mao and it was great. The noodles were very fresh and not "sticky and spongey" as they can be sometimes.
  Also had the cashew stir fry w beef and it was also excellent.
  Nice staff and a great place right on the water.

  Nice place right on the port overlooking the bay. Positive aspects- nice decor, clean, friendly staff, good music, and reasonably priced entrees.
  However, the Pad kee mao wasn't five star. The noodles were sticky and soggy and didn't seem very fresh. This is contrary to another customer review which I read and based my decision to try Thai Port. The flavor was ok. Other restaurants I've visited had stronger basil flavor in their pad kee mao. I was a bit disappointed but didn't complain to my server because she was quite friendly. Maybe, it just wasn't the right timing - Saturday lunch about 1 pm. The place wasn't crowded in fact there were only two occupied tables when I arrived. I will give them another try on another weekend perhaps for dinner. Maybe that visit will inspire a better review.

  We decided to try Thai Port the other day since its new and we love Thai food...and it was really good!  We will for sure be back here, we really liked this place and I can't wait to try their other curry dishes!  
  
  They are where Saffron Salmon used to be down on the bayfront, and its a great location with a lovely view.  They decorated the place very nicely, with a mix of ocean stuff and Thai theme.  They have a TV that plays Thai travel videos and a cool sign that says "Thai Port".  Anyway, the waitress was very sweet and helpful, and attentive as well, and we were seated quickly and she was very knowledgeable about the menu.  My husband got their Mussamun Curry, and I decided to try their Kao Soy special.  
  
  The food came out in a timely manner, and the portions were very large, which was great!  My husband did have to ask for more rice, however our waitress was super accommodating and brought more right out.  He was happy with his curry, and I was really pleased with the Kao Soy...it was a mix of red and yellow curries, and instead of being served with rice it contained noodles.  It also had lots of onions and ginger in the curry broth, which was really tasty and different...if you like onions and ginger, you would like the Kao Soy!  It was a good dish and different from other curries I have had, but still tasty and flavorful.  We also got Thai Iced Teas which were very good also.  
  
  We will definitely be back here to eat again, and if you are looking for Thai I would recommend Thai Port over the other place in town, the Thai Elephant.
